I am a bad boy!

Well, so much for keeping up with the blog! LOL! I just don't have time to do everything I want to do in life and still keep a timely blog so let me catch you all up with my life the past few months. Let's see, I put up an amateur radio antenna and have been talking to a lot of people all over the world. I have been practicing and playing a lot of chess. We took in another cat, which makes 13 now, and the new cat (Wyatt) is a sweetheart. Most of all I have been taking wildlife and nature photographs all over north Florida.

The photo above is the current me helping to set up our local photography club's exhibit at the Larimer Art Center. I have 4 pieces displayed in the exposition. It runs through May and the reception is this Friday. Frankly I hate going to receptions but they are a necessary evil when you are a professional photographer.

Here are a couple of shots recently taken:

This is a neat view from the top of the St. Augustine lighthouse, showing the shadow of the lighthouse falling on the keeper's house.

and here is a cute great white heron chick staring at the camera.

I have been trekking through a lot of swamps, taking a ton of photos, and generally having a ball. I promise I will try to do better blogging in the future but you know how that goes. Take care, my friends, and see you again soon (hopefully!).

Now you are retired you can't expect to have any time! I think I might have said it before, you look so much more happy and relaxed since you retired.

I love the picture of the chick, worth crossing a few swaps for.

I wanted to apologize to you. I've obviously upset you, but to be honest I am unsure how I've done this.
Hearing your story about your pension was very eye opening and upsetting and occasionally moved me to tears and often moved me to screaming into empty space. It's one of the reasons I want to make sure our political representation is pro-education. I'm confused as to why this angers you.
When you said the health insurance were only concerned with the bottom line, I agreed with you and commented that soon they wouldn't be able to just weed out the sick people because Obamacare would kick in. I don't know how you found this to be negative.
We've been buddies for years and I am honestly baffled by this turn of events. If I was unclear in any way or I upset you in some other fashion, I'm sorry. That was never my intent.
Best of luck, Jennifer
